Our Story
English Goldens are my passion.
I have always been an animal lover — particularly dogs. For a number of years, I have run a small in-home boarding business, which is how I became acquainted with all types of dog breeds. I also grew up with spaniels — and while they were always sweet, they were high energy and often anxious.
My conclusion after years of walking, feeding, housing, and caring for all of these dogs is that English Creams — or English Style — Goldens are the best. In general, no other breed can so consistently match the friendly, pleasant, eager-to-please, and happy personality found in a well-bred English Golden. Of course there are exceptions to every rule, but in general this is my experience.
Breeding is a lot of work, and when you do it carefully and responsibly, it is not a big profit maker. We do this because we believe English Goldens are the best family dogs out there — and we want to share that joy and love with our friends, our local community, and beyond.
We hope our dogs bring you immense joy and peace, as they have for us.

2017 · Visiting Family in Ohio
Meeting the Breed.
Adam with Murphy & Gray during our Ohio visit — 2017.
When visiting extended family in Ohio in 2017, we instantly fell in love with their laid-back English Goldens. At that point we had two small children and felt that we weren’t quite ready for a dog — but we loved them so much we tucked the memory of them away and told ourselves someday…
2021 · Our First English Golden
Welcoming Andi.
Fast forward to 2021. Our two kids were a little older (plus we had added one), and we felt it was time for our own pup. I researched breeders near us, found one that met our standards, and welcomed our first Golden, Andi, into our family.
Always happy to meet anyone — human or fur friends — she has been our cuddle buddy, fellow adventurer, silent consoler, and constant friend. In the spring of 2025, with the help and supervision of the breeder we bought her from, we had the privilege of breeding Andi. Her litter was whelped right in our kitchen, and the puppies stayed with us until they went to their new homes at eight weeks. It was the experience that confirmed what we were meant to do next.
We love her beyond words.
